1) What are a few things you do to stay environmentally friendly?

The easiest and most useful tip for staying environmentally friendly is reusing EVERYTHING. From plastic bags for grocery shopping to old water bottles, there is absolutely no need to throw these away after one quick use. Not only is it just about the easiest and most effortless way to be environmentally friendly, but it can also help you save a lot of money.  -Amen! I can't stress this enough to people.

Something that really bothers me as well is when people unnecessarily leave lights on and taps running. Turn the tap off when you brush your teeth and always check all the lights before leaving the house— it's such a waste of energy to leave lights on while you are out for the entire day.

2) Do you have any favorite sustainable or ethical clothing lines?

I have recently purchased a few pieces of clothing from a French brand called EKYOG, which focuses on only using materials that have a low impact on the environment. Another plus is that their clothes are super cute and totally affordable.  -Such a cool brand! I love learning about new sustainable brands, especially stylish ones :)

3) On a day off, you’re heading to your favorite coffee shop. What are you wearing?

First things first, no makeup!!! As a model we are always bombarded with layers of gross products and creams which unfortunately, more often than not, leaves my skin dry and breaking out. I love to let my skin breathe on my days off. In terms of my outfit, I have recently been loving anything that's easy and comfortable. Casual jumpsuits or rompers require no thought at all, and you immediately look very put together. I also cannot survive without a good pair of sneakers. Converse, Vans, Adidas, you name it; I probably have a pair in my closet. I hate wearing my hair down most of the time so my hair gets thrown up into a bun. Last but not least, I throw on my sunglasses and Voila! Ready for that much needed caffeine boost!

4) Tell me about something you’re doing simultaneously with modeling that motivates you. Another job? A project? Volunteering? A hobby?

These past few months my life has been very modeling oriented. It's been a long journey— busy days and a flight across the world almost every month. It can be crazy and fun, but there is nothing wrong with stepping away from the industry and taking a breath. In my spare time and days off, I love getting lost in a book or hanging out with my friends. I also think its crucial to turn away from social media for a little while and focus on myself. I really enjoy hitting the gym to clear my head and spending some time alone to “rebalance." After a few days, I am always ready to get back to work! -I couldn't agree more:)Our industry is incredibly exciting but it's important to not get too caught up on social media (guilty!) and take some time for yourself everyday to recharge. Getting lost in a book is such an incredible feeling!

5) In addition to modeling, what else may you be doing in your future, say 5 years from now?

As I just graduated high school in 2016 and have only been modeling full time for a year, I can see myself doing this for a little while longer. However, I would absolutely love to head to university sometime in the next few years, whether that is part time or to focus 100% on my studies because getting a degree has always been very important to me. I loved my high school experience and often still think about going back to school. The fashion industry is one crazy ride, but it is also a career that doesn't last forever. Right now, I am constantly on the road and living out of my suitcase for the most part, so I hope that in 5 years I am settled somewhere I love, happy and healthy!
